Super Smash Bros.

I figure I'd make a topic about SSB with the release of the 3DS version. Are any of you getting either one (3DS/Wii U)? Maybe we can collect some names/codes here for some of us to play one another.

I personally am going to wait for the Wii U version, since I really do not want to risk damaging my 3DS's circle pad playing it. And I'm way more accustomed to the Gamecube controller.

Also, what characters do you play? I main Captain Falcon, with my secondaries being Samus (Armored, not Zero Suit), Mario/Dr. Mario (Doc in Melee and soon SSB4), Ganondorf and Falco. I play Melee mostly, but the new game looks pretty good compared to Brawl. I'm interested in picking up Mega Man, and trying out Palutena. Looking forward to any newcomers?

I'm waiting for the Wii U version myself. I've never actually owned a Smash Bros game, but the few times I've played it over peoples' houses, I can see the appeal. I just never got around to it since I'm not big into fighting games. I'm in it for Shulk and Metal Face, but the few times I've played, it was with Link, Peach and Pit.

^Same. I plan to get the Wii U version, since I'm finally getting the console next week. I always played the game at parties and at friends' houses as well. I usually play as Link or Snake (well, I guess not anymore). I definitely want to give Shulk a try.

So the game is out! If anyone wants to play, feel free to add me. When we get a few names, I'll make a list in the OP, if that is alright. My NNID should be BlueM3tal. I made it last year and barely used it though, so I'm not actually sure if that first L is actually a capital i. Just let me know if you added me and we'll figure that out, haha.

The game is quite fun, I'm loving it. At first I wasn't all that interested in Shulk, but I gave him a try, and I love how he plays (I'm really feeling it). He's my secondary behind my Falcon main. So I'll gladly help out with any Shulk practice or tips if you need 'em!

I have both versions and let me tell you, friend, I have gotten my money's worth out of the 3ds version just for using my 3ds as a controller!

That being said, it's a lot of fun. I enjoy the new characters a lot. I only wish there were more stages, but that's a minor pet peeve.

^Same. Granted, my bro is the one with the 3DS version, but it's so nice having another controller option available. I love the game, but I was very disappointed in the choice of unlockable characters. However, I registered both the Wii U copy and my brother's 3DS copy, so I look forward to getting Mewtwo when he comes out!
