Actually, it was something I saw many times over the course of several months where now and then I'd look on eBay for something cool Xenosaga-related, and it would always be there. I figured I'd buy it for Christmas. :nice: I actually don't really know if the seller prints them or other custom work or what, but all I know is that I've seen the mug several times, and decided to get it, haha.

You're in luck, as well as anyone else that wants one. The page that I got it from changed massively since I bought it. He has several of them for sale, and added more details and pictures to the page. When I bought it, all I saw was a picture that had KOS-MOS and Shion on it with very little details about it. :laugh4:

He must done those cups on his own or he first send print to some company that print it on cups and he sell it. Everyone can make things like that, it's like I put option to sell my Xeno graphics on cups, paper etc on Deviantart Wink
There is nothing like official cups from Xenosaga Wink

    Speaking of figures, I wonder how difficult it would be to import the models into 3d software and prep them for a 3d printer? I'd die if I could have some unofficial figures of less popular characters. ;

I have Scupltris but I've not had time to play with it much.

Seconded all the way!!! I'd kill for a Gaignun figure, and my sister and I frequently talk of making a miniature Zohar or Zarathustra...?

Jeez, I'd love to have a figure of just about anyone in the games... (Pied Piper characters too?? Oh my god.) The only trouble would then be painting it... and finding a 3D printer. Maybe we can all put our heads together on this and create some small miracles. (Or rather, have mystic powers grant us some!)

From what I see cheapest 3D printer is around 1000$, more important question it would be how to import Xenosaga 3D model into it. If soft can open models from example 3D max or something like that... If yes then it would be so hard to do. Export, fix, pose Xenosaga character and then print, paint...

edit: well for soft of 3d printers there is one that read .obj file, it's easy to export 3D max model to .obj...
But now I think about it it would be a litlle problematic anyway. Geometry of Xenosaga models are very simple, most works do textues that make models look like they aren't flat (for example on clothes or hair), most of them would need a remodel before it would be possible to make something amazing.

I've been looking around at the 3D Printing sites and found this one - http://i.materialise.com/ I haven't worked with them before, but I think it's a step closer than impossible, at least. :3

Interesting site Kat, from what I see I could get my model of Nissan pendant and order it to be maked from gold there...

There's one that does like, sandstone printing. I see a lot of people getting models made on there of various things for like $20 or so. I just can't think of the name. I think you can just use a 3d program of some sort to edit them and add the textures and then save it in a particular file format and submit. I think it would be a better idea to somehow customize the textures and model so that it's a bit more original in some way.

Remember people, you can import directly from Japan by using a deputy service. I use SMJ or Shopping Mall Japan, I got all my stuff with them and some ebay users from Japan and I never have trouble with them until now.

Woho! Today ES Dinah finally arrived. A really great addition to the collection even if the import duties/taxes where high...

I don't really like to spread my collection all over the internet but I might as well give you all a teaser, hehe!

Thank you! It's always nice to see other peoples collections even if I don't expect to see 9 diffrent versions of Episode 2 in them, hehe. I promise to show the entire Xeno collection some day but it's just impossible to display everything at once, I can't even fit ONE poster in the game room right now and then there is all the guides, soundtracks, keychains etc, phew.

We have a few artbooks and my husband's (mostly) KOS-MOS figures floating around too, but they're not all in one place.

^Nice! I'm jelly. I would love to have the manga. Maybe that would prod me to actually practice my terrible Japanese skills.

I preordered the Shulk Amiibo, so whenever I get that, I will put it with the rest of my Xeno shrine.

Your Xeno Collection - Page 2 Empty Not Much, but Enough

    Post by XenoForever07 Sat Jan 31, 2015 11:03 am

Alright, so here's my rather short list:

    • Xenosaga Episode 1

    • Xenosaga Episode 2

    • Xenosaga Episode 3

All the above are the original NA releases.

    • Xenosaga: The Animation The Complete Collection (yeah, I know)

    • Xenosaga Episode 1 Limited Edition Movie DVD

    • Xenosaga Episode 2 Cinema Anthology

    • KOS-MOS mouse pad Cool

    • KOS-MOS full body portrait Cool

I'm not exactly rolling in dough, so I bought these over a long period of time after saving money. I'm glad I did, however. The cheapest thing I bought was the first episode which was my introduction into the series and it was only $5 at a huge sale. Quite a steal. I didn't even know it until years later. I was pretty young when I first started playing Xenosaga. It's always had a special place in my heart.

As long as you have the games and have played them I am happy!

I just fixed the picture of my collection, it's seems like it broke when the forum moved.

I actually just started collecting but I currently have

Xenosaga I (Der Wille Zur Macht)
Xenosaga II (Jenseits von Gut und Böse)
    Xenosaga: The Animation
    Xenosaga Official Design Materials
    Xenosaga Official Design Materials translations
An original oil painting of KOS-MOS (handmade by me >3<)

I'm hoping to get the third game, the DS game, maybe Xenosaga Freaks (even if I can't actually play it ;w;) and a cosplay of Momo together
