    Since Final Fantasy X HD is about to be released and I'm playing FFX International right now,
    why not make a database of this game? As always information will be added on the first post
    and updates will be registered by date on the second post. So let's go!

    Most of the technical data come from Japanese guides and Ultimania guides, but I added
    some information that I collect while playing the game.

    Type: STR based rely on user STR, MAG based rely on user MAG and Special

    Timer: Time to execute commands, if needed.
    AP: It is the raw attack power of the ability.
    Bonus: It is the raw attack power of the ability after successful command. Tidus only.
    Delay: Time needed for the character to act again after using the ability.
    HTG: How to get the ability.

    Tidus

    Overdrive : Swordplay

    Action: Hit the Cross button when the marker is right over the area in the center of the
    large bar.

    Note 1: None of tidus' overdrives can hit far away targets.
    Note 2: All Tidus' overdrives can deal critical damage.

    Spiral Cut
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Single
    Timer: 3 seconds
    AP     : 24
    Bonus: 32
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Default
    Default overdrive, useful at the start of the game.

    Slice & Dice
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Multiple, random
    Timer: 3 seconds
     AP     : 3 hits with 8 AP each
     Bonus: 6 hits with 6 AP each.
     Delay : 4
     HTG  : Use Tidus Overdrives 10 times.
    Slice & Dice is Tidus' best overdrive. It can output damage of Blitz Ace on targets with high DEF and have almost as half of the delay that Blitz Ace have. The only downside is that if there are multiple targets, the attacks will be random.

    Energy Rain
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : All targets
    Timer: 3 seconds
     AP     : 20
     Bonus: 26
     Delay : 5
     HTG  : Use Tidus Overdrives 30 times.
    I don't have much to say about Energy Rain except that is a good all targets non-elemental overdrive with a high delay.

    Blitz Ace
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Single target
    Timer: 2 seconds
     AP     : 8 hits with 4 AP each.
     Bonus: 8 hits with 4 AP each, one hit with 24 AP.
     Delay : 7
    HTG   : Use Tidus Overdrives 80 times.
    The first eight hits deal low damage while the last one, which can miss if you don't hit the spot in time, deal great damage. Blitz Ace have the 2nd biggest delay among all overdrives.

    Yuna

    Overdrive : Grand Summon

    Action: No

    Yuna can summon any of her Aeons with their overdrive gauge full. If the aeon's overdrive gauge is already full, then they can use their overdrive twice.

    Auron

    Overdrive : Bushido

    Action: Press all the buttons that appear on the screen within the time limit for additional effects.

    Note 1: All Auron's overdrives can deal critical damage.

    Dragon Fang
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : All targets
    Timer: 4 seconds
    Com  : Down, Left, Up, Right, L1, R1, Cross, Circle.
    AP     : 16
    Bonus: 17, Inflict Delay (254%).
    Delay : 5
    HTG  : Default
    Dragon Fang is a great overdrive! If you do the commands it'll deal delay damage on any surviving foe. At the end of the game when combined with Masamune's First Strike and Triple Overdrive and Auron high STR, it'll instantly end almost any non-monster arena battle. Unfortunately it loses it usefulness in monster arena because the monsters in there are immune to delay.

    Shooting Star
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Single Target
    Timer: 4 seconds
    Com  : Triangle, Cross, Square, Circle, Left, Right, Circle.
    AP     : 24
    Bonus: 24, Eject (254%).
    Delay : 5
    HTG  : Find the Jecht sphere after fighting Spheremorph boss in Macalania.
    I personally love this one because if you do the command right it'll Eject the target of the battle as long as the target is not immune to eject. Useful against some of the most annoying and powerful enemies such as Malboro, Mimic, Great Malboro and others.

    Banishing Blade
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Single Target
    Timer: 4 seconds
    Com  : Down, Left, Up, Right, L1, R1, Cross, Circle.
    AP     : 28
    Bonus: 28, Inflict Power Break, Armor Break, Magic Break and Mental Break (all 254%).
    Delay : 6
    HTG  : Find three Jecht spheres located all over Spira.
    Banishing Blade is one of my favorites! If you do the commands right it'll inflict all four breaks on any foe that is not completely immune to these! Even on some fiends of the monster arena! Extremely needed to farm some "parameter" spheres, specially STR Sphere.

    Tornado
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : All targets
    Timer: 3 seconds
    Com  : Circle, Right, R1, Left, L1, Triangle.
    AP     : 15
    Bonus: 25 or 2 hits of 20 in International version.
    Delay : 6
    HTG  : Find all ten jecht spheres, must defeat Dark Valefor to get one in Besaid.
    The only good thing is that it hits all targets and in the international version, if you do the commands right, it'll hit a second time. Nothing special.

    Note 1: I advice you to backtrack all the way to Besaid after you defeat the Spherimorph boss in Macalania this way you can get Banishing Blade earlier and specially you can get the Jecht Sphere in Besaid. If you don't do that at that point, then the superboss Dark Valefor will be at the gate of the village and you have to defeat him before you enter the village.

    Jecht Spheres Location:

    1: Defeat the story boss Spherimorph in Macalania.

    HTG  : Default.
    Default overdrive.

    Fire Breath
    Type  : Special magic/Fire
    Tgt    : All targets
    AP     : 24
    Effect: Inflict massive MAG based Fire Elemental damage. Ignore targets MDEF.
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Dualhorn, Grendel.
    Can be useful even post-game.

    Seed Cannon
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Single target
    AP     : 33
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Grat
    I didn't noticed anything special about this one.

    Self Destruct
    Type  : Fractional
    Tgt    : Single target
    Dmg  : Based on Kimahri maximum HP * 3.
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Bomb, Grenade
    Note  : Kimahri is ejected from battle after using this overdrive and will not return until the battle ends. You'll be forced to fight with only two party members in active party.
    The most useless overdrive ever.

    Thrust Kick
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Single target
    AP     : 33
    Effect:
    Delay : 3
    HTG  :
    Another useless overdrive.

    Stone Breath
    Type  :
    Tgt    : All foes
    Effect: Inflict STONE (254%)
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Basilisk
    This overdrive turn any foe that is not completely Immune to petrify into stone and shatter them into pieces. Unfortunately this prevent you from getting overkill. Its a great way to end battles quick.

    Aqua Breath
    Type  : Special magic/Water
    Tgt    : All targets
    AP     : 26
    Effect: Inflict massive MAG based Water Elemental damage. Ignore targets MDEF.
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Chimera
    I found it less useful than Firebreath, but still great if Kimahri's MAG is high

    Doom
    Type  :
    Tgt    : Single target
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Ghost
    Note  :
    I never found this Ooverdrive any useful even though almost any enemy is vulnerable to it. The countdown vary on the target, more powerful foes will have higher countdown.

    White Wind
    Type  : Magic healing
    Tgt    : All allies in active party
    AP     : 40
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Dark Flan, Spirit.
    Another overdrive that is not useful at all because of the healing mechanics. Its best to use healing spells or Rikku healing overdrives.

    Bad Breath
    Type  : Negative status
    Tgt    : All foes
    Effect: Inflict Sleep, Silence, Blind (all 10 turns) and Poison (100%).
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Malboro.
    This overdrive is somewhat useful in the main game because it almost completely seals targets offensive options and deal damage overtime.

    Mighty Guard
    Type  : Buff
    Tgt    : All allies in active party.
    Effect: Buffs allies with Nullblaze, Nullshock, Nullfrost, Nulltide, Protect and Shell (254%)
    Delay : 4
    HTG  : Behemoth,
    This overdrive can be useful even on monster arena or against some dark aeons.

    Nova
    Type  : Special magic
    Tgt    : All Targets
    AP     : 70
    Effect: Inflict massive MAG based non-elemental damage on all foes. Ignore targets MDEF.
    Delay : 7
    HTG  : Omega Weapon, Nemesis.
    Nova has the potential to be the most powerful of all overdrives in the game, but is limited by the damage limit. Nova is so powerful that it can deal 99999 damage when his MAG is 95 or 73 if it happens to deal critical damage!.

    Wakka

    Overdrive : Slot

    Action : Press the Circle button to align the three simbols in the middle horizontal line.

    Note 1: The timer to execute the command of any Wakka's OD is always 20 seconds.

    Element Reels
    Type  : Physical/Elemental
    Tgt    : All targets
    Com  : Align three symbols of the same color to attack all targets with an elemental attack.
    AP     : 34
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Default.
    Note 1: The color of the symbols represent their element:
               Red is Fire element.
               Yellow is Thunder lement.
               Blue is water Element.
               White is Ice element.
    Note 2: If you align only two of the same Element symbols. You still get the elemental attack, but Wakka will hit one random target instead of all targets.
    Useful on main game, become useless in the optinal part of the game.

    Attack Reels
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Random targets
    Com  : Align the "Hit" symbols to attack random targets with 2~12 hits. In order to get 12 hits you must Align all "2 Hits" symbols.
    AP     : 10 AP each hit.
    Delay : 3
    HTG  :
    Note  : The number of the symbols represent how much attacks will hit the targets:
               1 Hit: Add one hit to the attack count.
               2 Hit: Add two hits to the attack count.
               Miss: Add no hit to the attack count.
    It's the most damaging overdrive in the game. Even if you don't like playing Blitzball (one of this person favorite mini-games in FF series) you should try to get Attack Reels. Believe me, it is worthy!

    Status Reels
    Type  : Physical/Status
    Tgt    : All targets
    Com  : Align 3 of the same symbols to inflict the desired status effect on all foes.
    AP     : 34
    Delay : 3
    HTG  :
    Note  : Each symbol represent different type of status:
               Poison skull  : Negative status, inflict Sleep, Silence, Blind (all 3 turns) and Poison (254%)
               Point Down   : Parameter down, inflict Power Break, Armor Break, Magic Break and Mental Break (254%).
               Hourglass     : Slowdown, inflict Petrify and massive Delay (254%).
    Somewhat useful on main game.

    Auroch Reels
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : All targets
    Com  : Align all Auroch symbols to attack all foes with a massive physical non-elemetal attack.
    AP     : 72
    Delay : 3
    HTG  :
    Not useful at all. Mostly because you won't be seeing it in the main game and it's completely outshined by Attack Reels in the optional battles.

    Random Reels
    Type  : Physical
    Tgt    : Single target, random.
    Timer: 4 seconds
    AP     : 32
    Delay : 3
    HTG  : Wakka will perform this overdrive if you fail to align at least two of the same symbols when using Element reels, Status Reels and three symbols in Auroch Reels.

    Lulu

    Overdrive : Fury

    Action : Spin the Right Analogic Stick clockwise. starts with zero counter and maxes at 15, total of 16 spellcasting.

    Level 1 elemental spells (Fire, Thunder, Water, Blizzard) Fury

    Note  : Each spell represent one element:
               Fire       : Deal Fire damage on one foe.
               Thunder : Deal Thunder damage on one foe.

    Level 2 elemental spells (Fira, Thundera, Watera, Blizzara) Fury
    Type  : Magical

    Delay : 5
    Note  : Each spell represent one element:
               Fira         : Deal moderate Fire damage on one foe.
               Thundera : Deal moderate Thunder damage on one foe.
               Watera    : Deal moderate Water damage on one foe.
               Blizzara    : Deal moderate Ice damage on one foe.

    Level 3 elemental spells (Firiga, Thundaga, Waterga, Blizzaga) Fury
    Type  : Magical
    AP     : 18
    Delay : 5
    Note  : Each spell represent one element:
               Firiga       : Deal massive Fire damage on one foe.
               Thundaga : Deal massive Thunder damage on one foe.
               Waterga   : Deal massive Water damage on one foe.
               Blizzaga    : Deal massive Ice damage on one foe.

    Bio fury
    Type   : Status
    Effect :  May inflict "Poison" in one target (80%)
    Delay  : 5

    Gravity Fury
    Type   : Fractional
    Effect : Reduce target's current HP by 1/8.
    Delay  : 5

    Death Fury
    Type   : Status
    Effect : May inflict "KO" in one target (80%).
    Delay  : 5

    Drain Fury
    Type   :  Magical
    Effect : Damage the target's and recover the same amount of HP to the user.
    AP      : 9
    Delay  : 4

    Osmose Fury
    Type   :  Magical
    Effect : Damage target's MP and recover the same amount of MP to the user.

    Flare Fury
    Type   :  Magical
    Effect : Deal massive non-elemental damage to one target.

    Ultima Fury
    Type   : Magical
    Effect : Deal massive non-elemental damage to all targets.

    Note: Ultima Fury is Lulu's only OD that hit all the targets at the same time.

    The spells cast in this overdrive are weaker than the normal spells and the delay time is much larger, in case of Ultima the delay is the biggest of all overdrives. It's a good overdrive at the start of the game, but as you progress it'll lose it's usefulness

    C. mix: Mix made with the cheapest & less time consuming items found in the game.

    Effect : Recover all HP, up to 99999 HP.

    Rikku's ODs are divided in four categories;

    Elemental damage, non-elemental damage, healing and support. Elemental and non-elemental damage are useful mostly in the main game and loses its effectiveness on the monster arena and against the dark aeons. However the healing and support are extremely useful on any part of the game, specially post-game.
