- Spoiler:
- So last night I dreamed I was watching this really depressing movie where everyone died except some kids who were the children of some of the adult characters and were destined to meet again and fall in love someday despite their tragic past. It was kind of like a cabin-in-the-woods slasher movie adaptation of Les Miserables. After the movie ended, I was standing at a bus stop a few streets down from my house, talking with some other people about how I had just decided the Les Mis/slasher movie (it had another title but I forget what it was) was one of my favorite Movies Where Everyone Dies At The End, along with (spoiler-within-a-spoiler?) The Seventh Seal, and some other movie I think my subconscious just made up on the spot.
Then a school bus arrived at the end of the street, and I looked inside and it was a really fancy school bus, almost like a little mobile playroom/day care center with a lot of floor space and comfy seats and toys and library book carts and stuff. I was surprised to see that this was what school buses were like nowadays, and I told the kids on the bus that in my day, the school bus was all cramped with narrow aisles and boring rows of seats and a generally unpleasant atmosphere, and they laughed at me for being a crazy old person complaining about the bad old days. A girl started talking to me and making fun of me for being old and clueless, and then she told me to put her lunch box in this giant refrigerator/playground thing shaped like an igloo, where the kids apparently kept their lunches on the way to school. I think I got off the bus after that. (Kids these days, amirite?)
Yeah, I got nothin'.
