^ I believe that we will die and that after death, anything is possible. =)
    <

I also believe that having an afterlife would be a beautiful thing.

^ Your signature is quite beautiful, I must say!

Also, the ocean. I've lived beside it most of my life and I still stop and appreciate its beauty.

^ I do! My family used to visit there every summer.
    >

We used to go to Long Island in New York, where my uncle lives. There was a bay on one side and ocean beaches on the other, and I always liked the bay because the waves were smaller and less scary and you could find cool things in the sand. owo

    ^ If "

means within three years, then Germany!! No specific places yet, but I've highlighted a few areas.

^ Oh gosh, I want to learn all of them. French, Spanish, Chinese, and Sanskrit in particular, but I don't seem to have the patience anymore.
    >

I also kind of want to learn Swedish after picking up a few words subliminally from movies? But I probably should relearn Japanese and German first because I studied them in high school and then completely forgot everything I know.

^ I feel the same way about most movies, actually. It has to be something I've been wanting to see for a while or have actors I really like in it, otherwise I can't pay attention. :B
    >

Same thing for TV shows and stuff. On the other hand, there are a few animes I've been wanting to see for years (like, I've literally wanted to watch Utena since I heard about it like 14 years ago and I really have no excuse for why I haven't sat down and just marathoned it yet and holy crap I have spent LITERALLY HALF MY LIFETIME wanting to watch Utena), but I keep getting distracted because I am a terrible person. XD

^ The anime Free! I bump into Free! yaoi all over the place, it's impossible not to notice it (at least as a yaoi fan). But since I don't watch anime at all, I've obviously never seen it.

^ Bladerunner. For not clear distinctions between man and machine, and a taste for noir and black, dark parts of the world. Dehumanization has been a really important thing that's on my mind as an adult.

^ (Heck yeah, Blade Runner is awesome.) I guess this is more of an archetype than a specific character, but characters with a surrogate parent-child relationship are really important to me.

^ I've realized I tend to dislike characters that are more like me. So I actually tend to flock to ones that are idealized versions of people I care about or am supposed to care about.

    ^ I've seen someone IRL with immediately noticeable difference in the eye color - it looked like about ~40% of the iris in one of their eyes had a different color 'spilt' over it. It looked a bit strange but no more than that. Certainly nothing like close up photos of albino eyes made directly from the front with a flash;

those can be, IMHO, downright creepy at times. So, I'd say 'cool'

Not so much in animation though. A character sporting heterochromia that I've liked the look of is a rarity.

    >

Surprisngly enough, yellow fictional eye color is about my favourite too. 'Golden' and 'amber' tones specifically, although 'somewhere between green and yellow like some owls and eagles have' would be a close third.

v Thoughts on asymmetrical character design? (Think what Tetsuya Nomura did in the recent ~12 years or so.)
