I have a problem and his name is Mumkhar.
I should probably be ashamed of myself, but I really adore Mumkhar, and all of it is spoilery.
All of this makes me super-excited about Lou and Doug in Xenoblade X, because I can't unsee Dunban on Lou and Mumkhar on Doug, especially in this image - http://xenoblade.wikia.com/wiki/File:Illustration_of_Lao_and_Douglas_g_img_rareengine06.jpg
Maybe one day, I will calm down, but today is not that day. I might use this thread later to link to art about Mums. I did a lot of Rule 63 Mumkhar back when I first played XB and it's gotten dusty, but I still want to show it around.

- Spoiler:
- The JRPG genre has been hurting for a villain they love to hate, and Mumkhar more than delivers that for me.
In no way am I defensive of his actions - he's a complete slime, but I really love that he exists, and I really love his rivalry with Dunban. I've been the unwitting victim of betrayal in one friendship where I thought I was doing everything right, and I've been the betrayer in another friendship that just got continually sour as the other party stayed completely ignorant and tried to play the angel, so both sides of Dunban's and Mumkhar's story intrigue me and squeeze at my feels.
I do wish it was better addressed and that they got more in-depth with it, but what we did get of him, I thought was splendid, and I'm tickled pink that Metal Face was featured in Smash Bros!
