Create Your Ideal Xenogears Dub

Well my joke thread got this idea in my head.

In a potential Xenogears remake with full voice-acting, who would you cast as each character?

The idea came to me because I think Billy Zane would be a great Grahf.

But if I was keeping it to "usual anime voices", I'd like to hear Paul Dobson (Naraku) as Grahf.

How about you all?

I think from the costume alone, Grahf could be very well done by Michael McConnohie, but I am heavily biased. XD

I've always thought Clint Eastwood would be hella perfect for Jesse, too.

Now I have to think more about this.

I'm not sure who would be  good voice for Fei...

Kinda want some Johnny Yong-Bosch but eh. He did Vash, a favorite hero of mine.


Get Spike Spencer to do it! That'll really entice all the "Xenogears is just Evangelion" tards.

Maybe Matt Hill or Brad Swaile... Matt was Kira in Gundam Seed and Brad is Amuro in 0079 and Setsuna in 00. Just trying to draw on mecha examples. Like I want the voice of Rau in Seed to do Krelian.

Miang = Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
She could fit Dominia too (played more forceful then creepy of course... this VA can do both well imo).
Bart original japanese VA was perfect. His english one though ... I guess a somewhat manly and energetic voice would suit him, it just needs to fit his freaking age.
BTW, what would you think if the characters were voiced by non american VA ? Make it international or something (that would add flavor to the Xenogears world in a way... Solaris has his own language, Kislev reminds me of Russia a little bit, Aveh is arabic, Aquvy... maybe british/american (Billy and his orphanage reminds me of anything Dickens, storywise... but their looks are american). Xenoblade was refreshing with its british cast... but international VA seems more interesting for a game like Xenogears.

Grahf is voiced by James Earl Jones doing the darth vader voice, as they are the same character.

I'm kinda on the fence for whether or not I'd like Ramsus to be voiced in the same way Tsuchiya Ruka was for the Utena dub (which is pretty much what they're doing with Jean in Attack on Titan Abridged - https://youtu.be/YNgKdIg7pfc ).  I always kinda headcanoned that Ramsus talked with a sort of snobby air to him until Fei started wrecking his shit again.

The dude who did Spike from Cowboy Bebop could probably fit in there somewhere. For the past ~15-20 years or so he's been getting mostly the 'manly growly gravel' type of voice direction, but there is more to his vocal range than that, isn't it?

Oh, and Glados's voice actress should do the annoyingly repeating VA callouts in Episode 3, hands down. XD

Heheh, this is a Gears thread, but I actually do think Steve Blum would make a good Id.

Hmm.... Can't remember any automated notifications in Xenogears. Ah, well, Emeralda could pull off some innocuous murderous machine kid lines, couldn't she?
