Concert and OST remaster incoming

So, this year is the 20th anniversary of the game and SquareEnix/Yasunori Mitsuda are offering presents :

I hope the concert is recorded, especially as Joanne Hogg is a guest !
As for the soundtrack, apparently, we shouldn’t expect a full remake of it. Just a few tracks that ANUNA will cover this time. But I guess we should expect better quality sound at the very least.

This is one of those times where I really really wish I knew enough Japanese to get by over there, and to have enough money to afford to make the trip!

A remaster of an entire soundtrack and not just the highlights is enough to get me excited about a possible remaster of the game, but if XG gets a remaster before XS even gets a port, I'm going to be disappointed. It's probably just a 20th anniversary thing and I'm reading too much into it.

What a dream it would be to visit the concert! Sadly it will only be a dream for me.

It seems like the confusion about remake / remaster exists in the world of music as well,
I suspect that a lot of people won't even hear the difference between this new soundtrack and the
original but I could also be wrong.
Either way it is preordered and the one or few new recordings with ANUNA will be really interesting
to hear, also what pictures/ footage they have chosen to go with each song on the bluray!

I want that music box that comes with the Solaris Seat so bad man... I'd pay for someone in Japan to go, and send me the music box, but that'd never happen lmao

i got the solaris ticket today on an auction, i really hope that i get it in time.

i'm going for the first time in japan and alone without much language knowledge, but for Xeno i'll do anything!

For real? I'm so jealous man... I'd pay so much money for that music box, and of course to just experience the concert. Only in my dreams though.

BTW i did a Cover of Small Two Pieces on the anniversary day of Xenogears, i never did sing and uploaded a cover, but for a masterpiece like Xenogears i really wanted to do something to celebrate:

yeah really, its a bit risky though with second hand, so i hope all goes well.

That Xeno Series Tribute is really good man! Much, much better than a lot of others I've seen. Nice song choice. I think Xenoblade X is very underrated.

thank you, i'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah i agree, X is really good, it is one of my favorite games ever, all the hate is undeserved. Most people expected Xenoblade 2 and got an ambitious rpg that tried something completely different with amazing open world and sidequests instead. Since the reveal i thought it was a mistake to name it Xenoblade Chronicles, for me it'll always be XenoCross!

And the bash against sawano because of 2-3 songs is ridiculous.
But yeah i really hope we get that sequel, that can corrects all of the flaws it had, the potential is so big!

I plan to do a Pain and Kokoro Cover next, i hope i do them justice hehe
