Forum Migration

Hey there, folks. Since the last maintenance here of PHPBB failed, and I'm stepping back as admin, I've decided to migrate the forum to a place where maintenance is performed by a list of professionals, and not just me on my lonesome. There's a lot of tech work that goes into maintaining forum software that's just beyond my capacity to handle.Rather than shut the whole operation down because of my own failings, I've put in to have our board's members and posts imported on a much nicer forum platform. However, we've run into trouble because our forum's database was damaged in the last upgrade attempt, so we might have to deal with a partial import and start over. In the event that we do need to start over, I'll do my best to pad folks' post counts with their current stats here and leave this board open (but in read-only mode) for as long as people want it open for reference.

Since Forumotion's staff is off for the holidays (5 Jan 2015), nothing is going to move on this until then, but I wanted to let you guys know what was up.

Bunnie creeps me out out every time I see it in XS and is now an online status indicator. Just what I needed - a constant reminder. lol

Anyway, its good to hear things are getting straightened out here. I'm still adjusting to this board myself. Thanks to everyone involved for the amount of effort that goes into keeping this fanbase alive.

But seriously, thanks to all of you for helping us keep the fandom alive. :3  There wouldn't be a fanbase without fans, after all. <3

In other news, signatures should be working now for any new posts.  Just make sure "Attach signature" is checked at the bottom of the post form, and also that your signature is set up in your profile.  (I had some weird issues with mine where it stuck random HTML tags in and broke all my image URLs when it was imported over, but I dunno if that's happened with anyone else's.)
