The God-Slaying Story, a Xenogears novel

I remember talking about this once but I can't find a thread anywhere about it (so maybe I talked about it elsewhere or in the old forum).
Anyway, I found more stuff about it recently.
People seem to talk about it as if it is official-ish, like the 4Koma comics. But so far, it's one of those Xenogears' side products I hear the least about. It's a shame because it's a novel... featuring Jesiah, while he was still an Element, on a mission (and Grahf is involved). That alone picks my interest. This is probably the only novel about the game. Is it good ? Bad ? I don't know but it exists.

I think it would be great if we could translate it and put it on Gobsibb eventually but I know this is hard work (the book has 217 pages, less if we consider the artworks... overall, it must have something like 200 pages of text).

Unless the Square logo is prominently displayed somewhere (Perfect Works has it on the front cover, for instance), I would say that the doujinshi is strong with this one.

I've had this book since 2008 and have struggled to find any info further on it, much less get it translated. All I can provide are character names, but heavily romaji'd.
Protagonist is Daruga Rishyuuna.
The woman pictured is Remia Seijyu.
Older man with gun to his head is Terun Fuii. Seems to be a higher-up in Kislev.
I think we all know who Grahf is.
I can't figure out the Gear names, as none align with the illustrations in the book to know if they're character names, gear names, or otherwise.
