Re: What are you watching now?
I successfully made it through the first episode of Attack on Titan. Now if only I could get away with watching the rest of it at work without being an emotional mess in front of my coworkers.

Re: What are you watching now?
My brother and I finished watching Kamen Rider OOO (except for the last movie). Now we are on to Ryuki, which seems to be pretty interesting so far. And we're a bit behind on Attack on Titan since our schedules don't match up until the weekend.

And wooo, looks like I'm able to do the rest of AoT at work! I'm on Episode 3. (Seriously, I find someone who looks like one of mai video game husbandos in an anime and I go absolutely nuts until I get to them.)

Re: What are you watching now?
I watched quite some stuff lately :
- Phantom of the Paradise, by Brian de Palma : I should have watched this sooner. Campy, a bit creepy (Paul Williams, I'm sorry dude but you creeps me out more than the Phantom), tragic, a bit hilarious (BEEF), surreal, rockish... and loosely based on Phantom of the Opera. How ironic that Paul Williams did the songs for the movie, considering who he plays.
- Cat Soup, by Tatsuo Sato : watch it. It has animated cats on crack. You can find it on Youtube.
- The Royal Tenembaum, by Wes Anderson : nice movie. Not my favorite of Anderson's movies but nice. Also... was it Morticia Adams as the mother/grandmother ?
- Gwen, or the Book of Sand, by Jean-François Laguionie : Weird animated movie. Very static animation wise and kind of mysterious storywise.
And now I'm in the mood for some Community. I should resume watching The Office too, one of these days.

Re: What are you watching now?
^ OMG, my parents used to have a tape of part of Phantom of the Paradise! I need to sit down and watch the whole thing, though. Also, The Royal Tenembaum is one of my favorite movies, period! And yeah, Angelica Houston? I think that was her. (I really really want there to be a new Addams movie out soon. I think everyone was waiting for Christina Ricci to grow up to be able to play Morticia, but that didn't happen.)
I should probably get caught up on the Attack on Titan anime, but I kinda just want there to be another manga issue out to read. I've also been plugging away at Rose of Versailles, but choosing between going for a run at lunch or sitting and watching anime has cut into a lot of things.

Re: What are you watching now?
My brother and I were able to watch a few episodes of Attack on Titan this weekend, though we still aren't fully caught up. :/ But I also decided to give the anime Sunday Without God a chance. I'm really digging the premise of the show, but the loli main character slightly killed it for me in the first episode, but the second episode seemed to really pick up steam and helped me ignore it.

My husband and I watched the movie The Prestige last night. It was pretty good, but I'm now on to all of Christopher Nolan's tricks.

Hurr, double-posting is fun.
I've been going back to alternately chaining Breaking Bad and Digimon 02 at the same time. Some fanart needs to happen.

^Do you mean...Breaking Bad x Digimon fan art? XD
I've also been watching Breaking Bad, but mainly on Mondays when I hang out with my friends (since he has Netflix and I, sadly, do not). We've also been watching The X-Files, since it kind of scared me away as a kid.

Re: What are you watching now?
^ Yes, Jin, that is exactly what I mean! :D I'm trying to decide on whether to give Walter White a Digimon or to have Joe and Ken make meth. Oh, priorities.
Aw man, the X-Files was something I always saw on the side as a kid, but I can defs appreciate it.

Either one would be amazing. *w* OR BOTH.
Jerami has also been on a Breaking Bad-watching marathon. I've been kind of half watching, half listening enough to have approximate knowledge of the plot. ^^

Pingu ! I watched this regularly when I was a kid and as an adult, I still find the episodes hilarious, in a cute way.
Welp, last thing I watched was A Star is Born with Judy Garland. Every sunday, there are classic hollywood musical movies on TV (french TV, you wouldn't know the channel I think) and it's pure delight for a musical lover like me. So, I rewatched Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, today was A Star is Born and next sunday will be The King and I.
Boy, the end of A Star is Born gave me goosebumps. It was beautiful and powerful, even if seriously depressing (and I guess I identify too much with depressed people... darn you movie). And then, I went and read Judy Garland's wiki page. Man, I don't know why she decided to play in this movie but... her own life was a bit similar to it. To think she could still be alive today if only she didn't destroy herself with drugs and alcohol.

The Constantine TV show is actually pretty legit. Sad there's less Keanu in it than the movie, but that's okay.

Re: What are you watching now?
Legend of the Galactic Heroes... again! This is my second time watching it, I have tried to rewatch
it several times before but always stop 30-40 episodes in, this time I will get to see the end again!
It's funny how I won't admit that I like space operas even tho Xenosaga is my favorite games, Legend of the Galactic Heroes is my favorite anime and Andromeda might be my favorite TV series...

The husband got me casually watching Dragon Ball Super or whatever that new Dragon Ball series is called. I'm mildly interested, but only as long as Ripped Shrek Dad is in it.
