Thanatos Contract

So, I just realized that there is something out there called "Thanatos Contract", created by Kat and a number of other former Godsibblings.  

Can you guys open up about this project here? Like, what was your inspiration for it, how you managed to coordinate it? How long it's gonna be?

As far as I know, the third installment of Thanatos Contract is going to be the last one. The head of the project is Jintoki, and stitchedmoon has done a little bit of art and editing for it as well as Leah7. I did the character design for most of the characters and about 90% of the sprites. Jin writes and programs it.

I think that spears it on is Jin's patience. It took me the better part of a year to get the first episode's sprites together.

Thanatos Contract just got its own domain name, too. :3 http://thanatoscontract.net/

I really like your art work for Mr. Smiles.

Yeah, Jintoki mostly update status about project on his DA. He works on in when we make break in remaking Xenofreaks into pc.
For my last check of his projects, he write that next part of TC will be last one.
He's amazing at programming things like that .

Oh wow, I didn't think anyone would make a topic about this. XD Well, I guess I should have...

But anyway, like everyone else said, episode III will be the last episode. After testing my skills with KOS-MOS: Project Love (a really bad fan-game I made when I was new with Ren'Py), I really wanted to make an original visual novel. I asked for help and Kat was willing to oblige, starting with Dominique's design and branching off from there. I admit, the story is somewhat stemmed off my own experience with forums and the friends I've made from them.

Now, with XenoComi and work, I haven't been the most active of late, but I really want to finish the series this year.

That's pretty cool, Jin. I actually thought the fangame was okay, and liked how you reused some of the characters (Wilhelm as a cult leader was great). As soon as I have time, I'm gonna check out the visual novel and post some impressions.

I wish I could do it earlier, but I got school work to take care of.

So I totally didn't see that kind of ending a coming...
As a whole, I dug it! I liked the individual scenes you get with AF and Doms for sure. I've yet to read every single scene for both sides yet but I enjoyed what I got to see. The developments for the mystery surrounding Smiles were well placed within Episode 3, although for the whole series I felt it all kinda came at once. Also the epilogue was super sweet. Still it's something to be very proud about!

Yeah, I agree, I probably could have done a better job with Mr. Smiles as a whole.  I suppose I just didn't know how far to go with him or not.  Thanks for the input, though!
