so I finally did it guys!!! I have used many mediums to color the same sketch based off a photo! I hope you enjoy them tell me your opinions!

Neat! I like the grey painted one best. I think though some added texture to your pictures will give them a bit more punch, like cross hatching or making certain areas seem "rougher" than others. It's a bit smooth looking from what I see in your gallery. Just a suggestion.

ty yeah i knew i could get some actual texture out of the paint i just didnt know how much i could build it up from my understanding its just color on top of other colors but if i keep going with that ill need more different shades of color & i might possibly reach a shade i dont want cuz its too light/dark etc plus i didnt have any white to lighten anything. i really wish i had white but honestly paint is annoying to work in. it gets all over everything xd. im gonna keep to markers for that reason but marker feels smooth, smooth paper, makes it smooth. not sure how to do textures in marker i understand it in pencil/linework. not sure if marker is the same concept or not?

anyways i didnt have any white to fill in the blank non painted part of the grey scaled painting i wish id had that itd have more depth to it.

I like how each different medium seems to give each one a different expression/emotion. Maybe it's the lighting?
