Does anyone know a plugin for Blender to import .max files to Blender v 2.6?

I'm not into blender but you can always save file in max as .obj format and open it in blender. You need to ask Primantis on his DA, he's blender master.

I can't convert it due to the fact I don't have 3ds max. xD I can't download it because 1, It's a huge file size, and 2, it costs a lot of money. ^^;

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it. I've decided that I first will try to make sea (animated) and beach for Sakura death part, before I choose if I go back to 3d making and it looks good so I'm back. For last 3 days I set up around minute from Sakura part 3. It's like 1000 frames out 7000+ that are in this part. Set up so no yet render, I can start rendering first 600 frames but I want to see it with different view in later time (it's like with pictures, you see what you didn't do right with time.)
But render time looking nice 2-7 minutes per frame, depend from camera view. One minute of movie that frame take around 2 minutes is only 20 hours, it's a lot faster...

So now some PV, tell me if something don't look good, better faster then later when I spend hours on rendering XD

I have to say I prefer Jr/Rubedo's look in Episode 3 (the one you re-used here, sort of). I don't know why but his Episode 2 design makes me a bit annoyed in his character, ahah.

Hehe, thank you everyone I fixed Sakura eyes and I have set up for 100% those first two ones and yesterday I render 100 frames, so slowly move on.

Ok, report, I'm now at 1400 frame rendering, would be 1700 probably right now but I had to rerender last 200 frames since camera ISO was the same as rest but it light-burn picture.
Eh, I set up 1000+ frames animation in one day and it's rendering like 2nd week? .

So to put simple: Set up 2300 frames that give around 1:30 minute of animation (will be around 4 minutes I think, I didn't touch last part with Sakura running) and that contain first part of Sakura and Rubedo talk. After that I'm going to set whole new part from DS ver then Jr, Shion and rest talks.
From my notes and plans that part will be 2380-4310 frame. Then Sakura and Rubedo talk last part that will finish around 5700-6100+ frame. It's longest of all animations I made, but best of looking and I'm really proud of it.
I need to prepare for so big animations since Drama CD tracks have around 7 minutes.      
Render/finished frames: 1400 (faster, run faster, damn :/)

And I have little request. I need Dinah, Kos-mos fight voices from games, clean ones without BG music for Missing year part 1 animation. After I set up Sakura animation 4 (Sakura's death) that I think will not be so hard... I will as fast as I can move on with Missing Year.

(it would be help if someone help with creating places from MY and Drama CD so setting up move faster, but we don't have any other 3D person here...)

PS. Anyone has idea how look coat of 100-series realian in MY? Because I look at it and don't know how finish her model. To start MY animation I need her, Jin model that only need to have trousers made and some details, Juli that I have fixed from game, boy that I didn't start to make but I have plan XD and last most scary KOS-MOS ver 1.5 T_T....

Thanks Valkyrie, but I have all images from flash animation, problem is that they don't show all info that I would need... Like those with 100-series realian, there is only view from front and that picture of her changed to genosis, but on that last one there is some strange things at her coat, like Matrix inputs XD. As for Kossy it's good thing that they made her figure so I download good photos from e-bay xD...

Sorry I'm not talk much lately and there is so much to do with site files, but I really want to finish that animation as fast as possible. With luck and etc I wish to finish Sakura project until end of this year and start move on with Missing year. I'm at 60% with rendering whole scene, today or tomorrow I will set up last pieces of that animation.




In breaks from part 3 I'm working with Jintoki on Xenosaga freaks and I was fighting with sea to part 4. It finely look better T_T after so many try it look like water. Sand on beach still need better texture but aside from that background is pretty set up.


I didn't yet decide if make Sakura's death at twilight too like 3rd part or on blue sky. What you think?

Kare, I think your work here is a thing of beauty. I love how you redesigned E2 Shion to basically reconcile all three of her appearances through the series, especially with those spanking new glasses.

Regarding the beach - both versions look awesome, and I wonder if maybe you could try doing a transition during that scene from blue sky to twilight, as if to say that Sakura's death impacts time and space within the Encephalon.

(Though, if it comes down to it, I'd prefer to the blue sky myself.)
